Service Description
A painting activity which includes local mangrove, seagrass and coral species, need for restoration, what each ecosystem is important for and why we need to preserve these ecosystems. In this course learners will: 1. Learn what mangroves, seagrass and corals are, why are they important, which local animals live and rely on these ecosystems and why they are at risk. 2. Be introduced to the painting exercise, how the activity will work and read through information per page, dedicating 10 minutes of painting per page (2 in total). 3. Recap and be asked questions around what they have learnt and then be awarded “Junior Eco Warrior” certificates in recognition of their time.
