An exciting physical activity which includes building an on-land coral nursery, learning how to apply coral, why seagrasses and reefs are important and how these ecosystems are connected.
First 15 minutes:
Guests will be introduced to
seagrasses and corals, learn about the different coral types and what local animals are dependant on these ecosystems.
Next 30 minutes:
Learners will head outside to build
a coral nursery, placing different coral skeletons on the nursery, educating learners as to how and why we are restoring local reefs.
Last 15 minutes:
Learners will have a recap and be asked questions around what they have learnt and then be awarded “Coral Guardian” certificates.
